Alright so here's the deal.
It's 4.22am and yesterday at this time I was happily watching Dream Concert 2009 and Peter Chao on YouTube.

Today's different.
I just finished watching 6 episodes of Glee at one go.

To my own amazement,
these 6 episodes have really set me thinking.

I am currently lip-syncing to Defying Gravity and somehow tearing,
but it doesn't matter, does it?

Seeing that every single one of these 6 episodes turns from

Well, I guess I'm lucky enough to be living on the 5th floor!

11th - 13th November 2N Chalet

Well, I didn't manage to go on the first day due to a montage and also Council Meeting on the morning of 12th.
But immediately after I rushed over to Chevrons, in the midst of an erupting rainfall.
I totally brought my entire Xbox for nothing.. It was utilized for less than 1 hour eventually.
Then as I arrived people had to go, and finally only half the number of people were left in the chalet, but ohwell.
Then towards night Yu Quan and Leon arrived, so I guess that kinda made the noise level grew again.
The best part was still the Truth or Dare from about 3am - 5am.
We made the people who chose Dare run one round around the swimming pool
i) Without wearing a shirt
ii) Without wearing pants, having a towel wrapped around the lower part of the body
iii) Without wearing a shirt, having a towel wrapped around the lower part of the body (This looks the most suggestive)

After the entire fiasco, I tried recording a cover at 5am but epic phail.
Also, tried to watch Gossip Girl but my eyelids gave way halfway through the episode.
Later at about 9am I woke up, then had to quickly pack up the place and prepared for booking out.

13th November 2012

Then on the very same day I woke up like a zombie, I had to go to NSC in the afternoon.
Apparently I was trying to keep myself awake, but at some points I didn't manage to do so.
After that I rushed off to Plaza Sing to check timings for 2012 and all the shows were like full to the brim.
(I was there at 5.20pm, shows up to 11pm were ALL SELLING FAST)
It was pretty insane, so I went back to Shaw House at Orchard.
Qingyi was already waiting there, so we just went and got the tix.
It's amazing how Lido has such a gigantic cinema, yet no one goes there.
The cinema totally reminded me of Nexus Auditorium at Cuppage Plaza, lol.
Overall, the movie wasn't that good imo, but that's just imo la.

17th November

Went to school for Council meeting first, helped to prepare door gifts for Batch Dinner.
(Kah How is truly an awesome designer! -Tank groan-)
Then, took 171 to Dhoby Ghaut to meet Xinyu jie!
Somehow, with a jam, I was still early.
Off to The Cathay for Nihon Mura! :D
Instead of spamming sushi, I found myself ordering more of the expensive stuff and I solo-ed about $20 worth of food in the end.
After that, I called Cedric to find out whether they were still like bowling or anything, and since they were only left with dinner, I just went home.

18th November

Last night Council meeting!
Put the CDs in their cases, and tested a few.
(Still can't believe I did such a crappy montage)
We scraped the dance, and we ended up doing 2 songs, which are imo, pretty nice still, but a dance would definitely be more impactful.
Halfway through the batch T-shirts arrived, and Izumi's creation will be worn by over 385^^
Really nice shirt.

But for now, it's ONE MORE DAY to Commencement Dinner.
It will be the night of our lives (Think healthy)!

Before the festival I crashed Boarding School Food Frenzy though.
For a person like me who was never in IBP, it was quite a new experience as opposed to the two veterans, Chuanyu and Ying Cong, who crashed it with me.
Before that was a dialogue with George Yeo, and it was rather entertaining of some sorts.

Finally, A Musical Tapestry just last night!
Brilliant performances by CO, SO, Choir & Band!
Truly making the school proud, always :D

Ah, just so much has been going on these few days.
I was lazy to blog it all.

Firstly, I shall start from Saturday.
Literature Seminar @ NYGH.
Jeff went MIA on the day itself, so I pretty much spent the whole day with Jing Kai, Oswald and Yue Quan.
It wasn't till lunch did the Media Studies presentation groups started streaming in.
But all the films look brilliant.
Can't wait for the screening :D

Next up, on the 30th of August,
took pains to travel to Pandan Valley Condominium to interview Professor Victor R. Savage.
The most valuable takeaway was probably the Gwee Hana information.

Then, I splurged $40 on my lunch at Takashimaya Breeks Cafe.

Yesterday was Teacher's Day Celebration.
The 4I1 performance was a knockout!

24th June was a rainy day.
But beneath all that rain lied something so much more thrilling.
Yes, it sounds cliche but who cares.
15slc;per[fac]tion outing!

First up,
the movie.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
IMO, I think the movie was moderate, seeing that I had actually done some research prior to the movie about the various Transformers.
For those who didn't, I think it was extremely easy to get lost in the movie, like who is this Transformer? Who is that?
With people like Starscream, I don't think it's possible to recognize all just through one movie alone.

Then,
it was birthday presents and cake time!
A few people got smashed, and the presents were rather.. interesting I would say. (Please proceed to Facebook for more info)

Following that,
it was down into the water!
Apart from Ryo trying to drag DK down and Truth or Dare which made DK shout
"I lubbs Crystal lots" and also Damian shouting "Transformers!" down into the 2nd floor below at the kids,
but apparently he only attracted the attention of an old man.

After dinner,
went on a Circle Line expedition for fun.
Roller Coaster ride ftw.

And the Ryo speech will be up tonight. I swear(:

It's the last week of holidays.
As for extensions, I don't really think I'm gonna place my bets on that too much.
But if there really ARE extensions, I'd probably spend the whole week going back to school anyway.

Yes, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
39% on Rotten Tomatoes isn't exactly what I hoped for, but ohwellxz.
It's also the last facs outing before hellish Term III starts.

Today, went to school first for Council meeting.
After everyone die-spersed, went to City Hall to meet my mum and sis for dinner.
Had Din Tai Fung (eat this) and then went off to ACM (Asian Civilization Museum).
For the Kang Xi exhibition, since my sis kept wanting to go and also there was free admission today.

Well, my greatest takeaway was not from the exhibition itself (HAHA), but the prettaye shots i got on my Canon Powershot A1000IS of the Singapore River night view!
Brilliant.

I'm so over it,
I've been there and back.
Changed all my numbers and just in case your wondering,
I got that new; I'm a single girl swag,
Got me with my girls and we're singing it.

Today, went around pretty much half of Singapore, from Ang Mo Kio to Serangoon, then back to Ang Mo Kio then on to Orchard before finally turning back to Yishun.
Sigh, shall not elaborate on my mundane life.

It's almost a whole week to go before the next facs outing.
Sigh, the journey so far has been like a dream.
So abstract; yet so real.
When I feel like it, I'm gonna write a song for facs.
Wait and see :D

It has been definitely a brilliant two days,
11th and 12th of June.
Whether it was screaming/laughing my head off at Drag Me to Hell with 15slc Facs (yay), or trying not to move the table in a 9-9 suddendeath match of futsal, or even marvelling at WHO's declaration of phase 6 pandemic for the H1N1 outbreak and thinking the chances are raised for term 3 week 1 IT emergency.

Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable two days.

Facs AAR was pretty entertaining I would say, but not so much as compared to the outing after that.
Drag Me to Hell was a complete thriller, as everyone would agree, and scaring ourselves after that was a pretty fun thing to do :D
I'm gonna watch it again with the NP people and Ryo haha.
Hope Zhixian would find some time to join in as well, spoiling movies are uber exciting :D

Then last night was HSC BBQ!
Just makes me feel like playing Futsal again.
But the best thing was when Chuanyu arrived, looked at me and said,
"You know Kenji whenever I see you now I think of the movie."

I like to use cliched expressions.
Yes, in the blink of an eye.
1 year has passed.
It's almost like it never did exist, but I do fondly remember 14slc.
27th May - 30th May 2008.
That was it.
Time flew by arguably much slower then, and all the Cluster meetings seemed like eternity before Lit Xian finally declared that clapping and cheering were in order.
It was all so much fun to liase with Yongzhi to dish out the best Cluster Action Paper around.
However, I decided that was not enough.
I watched with envy as the 14slc facilitators stood on each other's shoulders during lunch time doing their cheers.
I stared wide-eyed at the facilitators performance in comparison to my cluster's.
But nevertheless, I was addicted.
Addicted to an event so huge, the scale is shocking.
That's why from 2nd - 5th June 2009, there I was.
With the scale pointing at a 100%. Made to Per[FAC]tion.

My chance came rather easily, with me bugging Mr. Eugene Chua just once, then to my amazement received an sms from him the night before telling me I was a head facilitator.
I really didn't know what to expect.
Then the day came. 17th May 2009.
The first facilitators meeting.
I saw several familiar faces, and plenty more unfamiliar ones.
It was the chance.
The chance of a lifetime.
To be a facilitator for 15slc, along with 39 others.
As the second facilitators meeting came, we got seemingly closer and closer, all the way up till the convention when all barriers/walls just came crashing down.
Through the convention, I never really did despise my role as a head facilitator, but at the end of it all, it didn't really matter at all.
'Cause I've got 39 others, 39 other Per[FAC]ts that walked through the 4 weeks of 15slc facilitator journey with me.
And here's a shoutout to all of you:
